The Maid’s War was written next, followed by the The Silent Shield, The Forsaken Throne, and The Poisoner’s Enemy. That idea germinated, blossomed, and when I realized that it could have happened in Muirwood, I was so pumped to start writing it. When invasion begins and the world erupts in chaos, Eilean and Hoel find themselves bound by their mutual wills to survive and, against all odds, realize they are not each other’s enemy. Only one person can aid his fate: a mysterious woman, dwelling in secrecy, who truly wields power over life, death, and destiny.

Wheelers word-building is just right and he totally lives up to his name as one of the greats as a Fantasy author. The main character is a young woman who is a servant at an abbey that is responsible to attend to a druid who is under house arrest. He gave Minya some strong comments, which were helpful, and I was amazed at how fast the time went by. So in discussing this fact with my editor, we’ve got some neat surprises coming that should be interesting.The manor was a short distance from the rear of the kitchen that serviced not just the Aldermaston himself but also the entire population at the abbey.

Wheeler, is his ability to create his own world that is based on Middle Age/Medieval Europe while infusing magic into it, but still keeping that same feel to it that makes it seem like it is a part of our own history.The last novel I completed in high school was Tho Death Bar the Way , and it was my first attempt at a martial arts/romance. I moved to Rocklin that year, and we found ourselves in different parts of the country but still with the same idea. to any fantasy fan, especially those that love the classic feeling - think Tamora Pierce or Patricia Wrede.

But I’m so grateful I did it and especially grateful for my publisher always encouraging me to take risks. All she must do is gain Mordant’s confidence and trust and persuade the apostate to divulge his secret to her. While I absolutely love The Kingfountain series I have never been as huge a fan of the Muirwood books so I did not start this book with high expectations but I was very quickly won over. The first two books are decent, but not great and the final book is slowly paced, unimaginative, and it lacks any kind of satisfying climax or ending.

I’m ready to let you all in on the secret , and that secret is what I’ve been working on since I finished Ransom’s story. He had a handsome, arrogant face, and the makings of a beard that suggested he wasn’t too much older than her, but he also had the perfectly disciplined posture and commanding presence of an experienced soldier. But 75% of the book is spent on the prelude and when the apprentice finally sets out on her own the obstacles she faces seem pretty minor and her quest isn't very exciting or particularly dangerous.
